The women's shark attack came back at it with our veteran head coach Rob Verrelli and retired player turned-coach Radhika for our 25th year of women's rugby at Bayside. Plenty of new players joined the team ranging from those who have never played to those wanting to make a slash into the shark tank. Several women who played Bayside juniors have jumped in too! The season opened with a win, taking the hammerhead shark vibes to Castaway Wanderers on the island. As this school of sharks is learning to hunt and swim together the season ended 1-7. None the less the commitment to each other and this team is unmatched.

Players commute from all over the lower mainland and even the interior to swim in the tank. Over the break, we are looking forward to off-season training at Kea. With strong numbers and commitment, we are poised to bring the fear of the fin era to our opponents in the spring.
