Masters 2024/25

If the 2025 season were a movie, it’d be “Old Boys, Big Hearts, Sore Muscles.” The SOBs showed once again that age is just a number (usually found on a heating pad later) and that rugby still tastes better when followed by a cold one.

Game Time Shenanigans The lads took to the pitch with the enthusiasm of teenagers — but played with the wisdom of… mid-40s warriors. Plenty of tackles were made, pints were earned, and the occasional bruise became a badge of honour. They might have forgotten exactly how many rolls they did in warm-ups, but you better believe they remembered the post-match banter!

Social Season MVP Not officially in the standings, but definitely the most competitive category: after-match gatherings. Whether it was arguing about who made the tackle of the season or debating the correct pronunciation of “ruck,” the SOBs lived up to their motto of playing hard and partying harder.

Support Crew Highlights Shout-out to the fans, friends, and anyone brave enough to bring massages — and beer. You are as vital to the team as that mysterious guy who claims he used to be fast.
